The Friday Harbor Wolverines played the Mount Vernon Christian High School, Jan. 9 in Mount Vernon. The lady Wolverine varsity team had a tough battle to the very final seconds with the Mount Vernon Hurricanes inching out a win by 1 point. The final score was 34-33. The boys varsity had an easier game, amassing a big lead over the Hurricanes with a win and final score of 69-47.
