Our Wolverines Spotlight of the Week is Drake Goodrich and Mateo Zappelli. Senior, Drake Goodrich says his biggest goal this season is to win the league and to go to State. This season, he is most excited to play with the teammates he has been playing with since he moved to Friday Harbor. Drake shows a strong commitment and maintains an impressive 4.0 while making time to enjoy the things he is passionate about. When he is not on the court, he loves to ski, work out, play video games, and loves music. Senior, Mateo Zappelli has a shared desire for success and says his goal for the season is to also make it to the state level while playing in his last year of basketball. He is most enthusiastic about playing with his friends and competing strongly throughout the season. Mateo came to Friday Harbor from Argentina and has a clear focus on sports, particularly soccer and basketball. Both of these Seniors are well-rounded individuals with a commitment to their team and the game. Congratulations to these two players!
