Last week in Wolverine sports the football team battled La Conner at home for Senior Night on Friday, Oct. 18, walking away from that game with a win, 30-0. The team’s next game is at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 35 at Concrete.

Boys soccer had two games last week, traveling to Mount Vernon Christian on Tuesday, Oct. 15, where they lost 0-1. Then facing off against Grace Academy on Saturday, Oct. 19, to win, 5-1. The boys then took on La Conner at home on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Check out next week’s sports update for information on that game.

The boys soccer team plays its last regular-season game at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, at Mount Vernon Christian.

Boys tennis played its last game of the season against Orcas Christian on Monday, Oct. 21. See next week’s sports update for the results of that game.

The volleyball team won one game and lost the other last week. First, on Tuesday, Oct. 15, the girls traveled to Concrete to beat the Lions, 3-0. Later in the week, on Thursday, Oct. 17, they took on Mount Vernon Christian at home, losing 3-1.

The girls also played Darrington on Tuesday, Oct. 22, see next week’s update for scores. The next game for volleyball is at 4 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 24, at Orcas Island.
