The Wolverines fell to the Vikings for the third time this season during an impassioned play-off game on Orcas Saturday, Feb. 10. The Friday Harbor team held nothing back and maintained a close score but ultimately lost 54-47. More than 200 people packed into the gym to watch the game. The first half was low-scoring for both sides and plagued by multiple turnovers and missed shots. Going into half-time, the score was 16-11 with Orcas in the lead. Orcas came back strong in the third quarter with a series of rebounds that led to scores. In the fourth quarter, the Wolverines were able to get closer to the Vikings’ lead but were unable to surpass them. The Wolverines will next play La Conner on Thursday, Feb. 16 at Sedro-Wooley High School, time to be decided.

The Lady Wolverines play Orcas on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at Sedro-Wooley at 4:15 p.m.
