The Wolverines boys’ basketball team racked up another win on Friday, Dec. 15, this time against Mount Vernon Christian. The final score was 64-47.
“We did a better job not turning the ball over,” said Rod Turnbull, head coach of the team, adding that Miles Williamson and Ty Anderson provided a spark that helped the team get going.
Marshall Clark led with 13 rebounds, and Kyle Mapsead captured eight.
This week, the team has two away games. On Monday, Dec. 18 they headed up against Nooksack Valley, and on Dec. 20 the boys will play archrival Darrington. The following week the team will travel to Juneau, Alaska for a four-day tournament. Their next home game will not be until Jan. 12, against the Orcas Vikings.
