Friday Harbor Wolverines boys soccer beat the Puget Sound Advent Sharks 3-1 in a pretty entertaining game, according to Claudia Mills, who traveled to see them play.

The Sharks scored first; however, the Wolverines answered back with three goals during the second half. Luke Erickson scored one goal, and senior Julian Brown scored another off of an assist by junior Nick Herko.

“According to coach Andy Duke, by winning today’s game, they have qualified for state,” Mills said.

The Friday Harbor team defeated the Orcas Vikings 1-0 on Thursday, Nov. 1, in Anacortes.
