Friday Harbor boys and girls basketball head to playoffs

This season, the Friday Harbor varsity basketball teams taught others to “beware the paw.”

The boys and girls teams are headed to the 2B tournament playoff games.

The Friday Harbor boys basketball team is first in the boys Northwest 2B/1B League. They play a tournament playoff game at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13 at home. They will faceoff the winner of a Feb. 10 game featuring the Seattle Lutheran Lions versus the La Conner Braves. The Wolverines finished the season with 9-1 in league games and 12-8 overall. The Friday Harbor girls basketball team is second in the girls Northwest 2B/1B League. They play a tournament game on Wednesday, Feb. 14 against Seattle Lutheran, away. The Wolverines finished the season with 6-4 in league games and 10-10 overall. View the bracket for the tournament here.
