Chauncey Cox placed first in Island Rec’s 8.8k Fair Fun Run on Saturday, Aug. 20 with a time of 35 minutes and 16 seconds. He was followed by Max Haenel at 36:19 and then Andrew Moffatt at 38:13.

For the women, Anna Derevensky place first overall with a time of 41 minutes and 18 seconds.

Alyssa Liguori came in second with 42:02 and Gaylene Donner came in third with 43:21.

In the under the age of ten bracket, Jaxon Guyser came in with a time of 59:46 for the boys. For the girls under ten Mira Couthaud 1:17:32 and Sophia Ramirez with 1:29:52
