Larry Stratton passed on after a long illness in his home state of New Mexico, at the age of 59.
Larry was born in Anacortes, Washington, to Barbara Buck Stratton and joined his siblings; Bob Lumsden, David Lumsden and Joan Lumsden.
Larry grew up in Friday Harbor, a town he loved, and wished some day to come home to.
He leaves behind his wife of nearly 20 years, Heather Stratton who resides in their home in New Mexico. Larry is survived by his wife, Heather, sons, Sierra Stratton (Kaylee) and Ryan Stratton, as well as a step son, Sean, stepdaughter Kristina, and several grandchildren, Sophia, Kaylee, Titus, Rohan, and Aiden, as well as a loving mother-inlaw, Pam Ryan. Siblings: Bob (Kathy) Lumsden, Joan Lumsden, Michael I Belcher, and several nieces and nephews: Mindy (Gary) Sweezey, Sylvan Lumsden, Mia (Tanner) Steele, Layla (Richie) Singh, Bria (Devon) Styles, as well as great nephews and nieces (David, Colleen, Freya, Tyler, Carson, Avery, Neela, Deven, Spencer and Tessa, Mike (Barbara) Belcher Jr. Also his much loved Buck family, Aunt Barbara Buck; cousins, Sam Buck Jr. (Jane), Lori Stewart, Steve Buck and Lynn Wade (Mark). Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Stratton, and his brother, David Lumsden, and his Uncle Sam Buck.
This man is truly missed by his family. We all had a chance to make a Zoom connection with him just prior to his passing. He was happy, laughing, crying, and we all felt grateful for having this one last time to see and talk to him.
