The Whale Museum and Salish Sea Association of Marine Naturalists invite all ocean and orca lovers to attend the Southern Resident Orca C.A.L.F. (Community Action, Look Forward) workshop, April 11, at Friday Harbor High School Commons, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The workshop features updates by the research, education and action committees formed at October’s inaugural C.A.L.F. forum, and will move into a facilitated discussion about next steps on how community members can become more involved in orca and salmon recovery efforts.
Registration is $10 and pre-registration is required, so as to determine a head count. Register online at www.whalemuseum.org/products/calf2.
Lunch can be pre-ordered for delivery by Spring Street Deli for an additional $10, or attendees can bring their own.
