Members of the San Juan County Council, the Skagit County Board of Commissioners and the Whatcom County Council will conduct a special joint meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 2:30 p.m. in the Skagit County Commissioners Hearing Room, 1800 Continental Pl No. 100 in Mount Vernon.

The purpose of the special joint meeting is to appoint a replacement to fill the vacant 40th Legislative District State Senate position, and to discuss a potential vacancy in the 40th Legislative District State House of Representatives.
