The Town of Friday Harbor is seeking an individual for a position on its Lodging Tax Advisory Committee. Committee members meet twice per year to advise the Town Council on the distribution of certain funds received from its Hotel Motel excise tax. The three-year term for this volunteer position commences May 1.

The LTAC was established in June 2001 to review proposals from the public requesting funds to promote tourism and tourist activities within the town. The LTAC’s recommendations are forwarded to the Council for the final determination of grant awards.

Interested individuals with experience, background or involvement in lodging, tourism or local business should submit a Letter of Interest and a brief resume. Application review will continue until the position is filled.
