On Nov. 9, the lot at 330 Spring Street was sold for $2 million to a Seattle firm. The purchase included the white house next to the post office at 480 Ellsworth St. and two other connected lots. The lot is located next to Robin’s Nest and across from Wells Fargo. It was the former site of Browne’s Lumber.
Washington’s revenue department says the purchasing company, JAC San Juan LLC, is owned by Jeffrey Carnevali. Carnevali is also the owner and inventor of RAM mounts, a Seattle company that creates mounting devices for electronics in vehicles. According to San Juan County, JAC San Juan LLC owns seven other lots on San Juan Island.
