Monday at noon, the Friday Harbor Town Council will have a special meeting in Town Hall. The topic: A public hearing on the 2009 budget.

Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., the San Juan County Critical Areas Ordinance Review Committee will meet in the Islanders Bank Annex, 225 Blair Ave., Friday Harbor. Agenda: Review of project and agenda, citizen Input, continue review of General and Definition Sections of draft Critical Areas Ordinance, continue review of draft ordinance.

Tuesday at noon, the San Juan County Law Library Trustees will meet to discuss 2008 acquisitions. The meeting will be held in the Jury Room on the second floor of the San Juan County Courthouse, 350 Court St., Friday Harbor. 

Tuesday at 4 p.m., the steering committee of the San Juan Island Trails Committee will meet at in the San Juan Island Library.
