The San Juan Island Trails Committee has elected the following officers for 2010-11:

Dave Zeretzke, chairman; Mike Lazzari, vice chairman; Liz Illg, treasurer; Jill Johnson, secretary (with backup by Sue Buettell and Susan Dehlendorf); and Bill Severson, at-large.

The Trails Committee is part of Island Rec. Its Steering Committee meets Oct. 6, 5 p.m., in the San Juan Island Library. The Trails Committee meets Oct. 20, 5 p.m., in Whidbey Island Bank.

Zeretzke, Illg, Severson, Alice Hurd and Louise Dustrude will attend the Washington State Trails Coalition meeting in Tacoma Oct. 22-23.
