PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center, an affiliate of the organization building  Peace Island Medical Center near Friday Harbor Airport, has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for accreditation for compliance with the Joint Commission’s national standards for healthcare quality as well as hospital and hospice home care safety.

Construction of Peace Island Medical Center is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
