Patricia Plant of Sausalito, Calif., passed away peacefully Nov. 15, 2008 in Tiburon, Calif. She was 92 and a summer resident of Shaw Island. She is survived by her children, Richard of Inverness, David of Woodacre, and Marden of Belvedere; grandchildren, Nathaniel and Joshua Plant, Christopher Mosher and Hana Alvarez; and great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Carl Plant; Patricia, Carlos, Sonia, Reina and Clara Alvarez; and Maya Mosher.

Patricia Plant of Sausalito, Calif., passed away peacefully Nov. 15, 2008 in Tiburon, Calif. She was 92 and a summer resident of Shaw Island.

She is survived by her children, Richard of Inverness, David of Woodacre, and Marden of Belvedere; grandchildren, Nathaniel and Joshua Plant, Christopher Mosher and Hana Alvarez; and great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Carl Plant; Patricia, Carlos, Sonia, Reina and Clara Alvarez; and Maya Mosher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Plant, in 2005.

Born in Seattle in 1916, Patricia attended Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, Calif., where she met Tom Plant and married him in the old Star of the Sea Church in Sausalito.

Patricia worked for Fireman’s Fund, attended San Francisco State University and was secretary to Charles Tilden, who owned and managed numerous office buildings and warehouses in the Bay Area.

Patricia and Tom celebrated their 60th anniversary in 1997. Residents of Sausalito, Patricia and Tom spent their summers at Shaw Island, Wash. Patricia was a member of the Tamalpais Swimming Club and the Sierra Sirens, a group of ladies who hiked and camped in the mountains.

Interment is private at the Olema Cemetery, Olema, Calif. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice by the Bay, 17 E. Sir Francis Drake Blvd., No. 100, Larkspur, CA 94939.
