The Orca Network has released their third volume in their series “Orcas in Our Midst.” The newest book is titled “Residents and Transients — How Did That Happen?”
This full color, 32 page booklet features Southern Resident orcas and mammal eating transients and orca societies around the world. The book also includes facts about the lives of these native whales in San Juan’s inland waters.
The Orca Network is a nonprofit organization, which raises awareness about the whales of the Pacific Northwest and the importance of healthy and safe habitats.
“Orcas In Our Midst” is $8 per copy, or $4 per copy for ten or more books, with a 10% discount for cartons of 100. Discounts are available for nonprofits and educational institutions.
