Help Island Rec eliminate noxious and invasive weeds at Lafarge property, the former gravel pit on Thursday May 19 and May 26, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Volunteers have already removed hundreds of weeds, like scotch plants, fennel, and blackberries this spring.

Bring drinking water, gloves, loppers, shovels and or a weed wrench.  Island Rec will have a limited number of tools on hand.
