County requests salmon project proposals
The San Juan County Lead Entity is requesting local project proposals for the Salmon Recovery Funding Board’s ninth-round grant cycle.
The funding board administers grant programs for protection and/or restoration of salmon habitat. Grants are awarded by the funding board through the local Lead Entity based on a public, competitive process which weighs the merits of proposed projects against established program criteria.
The process is open to private citizens, non-profit organizations, local, state and tribal governments, and special districts.
For application materials, contact San Juan County Lead Entity Coordinator Barbara Rosenkotter at 370-7593, or e-mail BarbaraR@co.san-juan.wa.us.
