Island Rec invites you to take part in the Second Annual Resolution Run 5K scheduled for a 10 a.m. start on Sunday, Jan. 1. This is a family and dog-friendly fun run, that travels from Jackson Beach to Mullis, into town, up Argyle and back to Jackson Beach.

After your run, or just because you want to, take an icy dip in the Salish Sea to celebrate the New Year! There will be fires built and light snacks. It’s new this year and starts at 11 a.m.

Register online at www.islandrec.org or, in person, at the Island Rec office 580 Guard St. Registration is $10 for ages 16 and up and free for 15 and under.
