Author Sara Williams of Orcas Island will meet readers and sign copies of her book, “One Big Itch,” Saturday, 1-3:30 p.m., at Harbor Bookstore, Cannery Landing.

Williams’ third novel, set in Honolulu, stars soft-boiled sleuth John Spyer, a conflicted hapa-haole (half white) who proves too much of a haole to pay attention when Madam Pele herself warns him off the Haverhill case but too much of a Hawaiian to say no to old friends.
