40th District legislators are hosting a Meet the Candidate event for Kevin Ranker, Democratic nominee for state Senate.

The event is Oct. 1, 5-7 p.m., at the Skagit River Brewery in 404 S. Third St., Mount Vernon.

“The 40th District team needs a new member to carry on the fight,” the invitation states.
