What better way to work up an appetite than by trimming mulch sheets and assembling protective tubes for newly planted native shrubs? 

That’s one reason why the San Juan County Land Bank will be providing… pizza, that’s right, pizza, as part of its prep party for the ongoing wetland restoration of the Beaverton Valley Marsh Preserve. 

The two-hour prep party will take place Tuesday, April 5, at the Land Bank’s Friday Harbor headquarters, 328 Caines Street, and it gets underway at 6 p.m.
