Almost fifty moms and their sons participated in Island Rec’s first annual Mother and Son scavenger hunt on Sunday, April 24.

The hunt led the kids and their moms on a search to find ten clues hidden all over downtown Friday Harbor. Each clue was hidden in a box and led searchers to their next clue. Locations included the totem poles by the Port of Friday Harbor, Lighthouse preschool playground, San Juan health club, Earthbox spa, Brickworks, The Historical Museum, post office, San Juan Community Theatre and more.
