San Juan County Public Hospital District No. 1 invites the public to attend our upcoming open house on June 7, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an opening ceremony at 2 p.m. at Village at the Harbor.

The open house will be District-wide, with Village at the Harbor, Village at Home, San Juan Island EMS, and the District Administrative Office participating. Learn about District initiatives, including current services offered and plans for the future!

From 1-2 p.m. “Friends & Family CPR” – This course is free and open to the public! Learn the basics of CPR without earning a certification takes place at San Juan EMS

From 2- 2:30 p.m. “Opening Ceremony” at Village at the Harbor

2:30-4 p.m. “Wide Open House” at Village at the Harbor, San Juan Island EMS, Village at Home, an Hospital District Administration Offices

From 3 – 3:30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. “Stop the Bleed” – This course is free and open to the public! Learn how to stop traumatic bleeding and earn a “Stop the Bleed” certification. Takes place at San Juan Island EMS

There will also be open house activities and events at Village at the Harbor from 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. including building tours, including apartments, communal areas, and gardens and live music. Snacks & refreshments will be provided.

At the EMS building, there will be tours of San Juan Island EMS, including buildings and vehicles, Car Seat Education. EMT Foundation Fundraising

At Village at Home information on services will be offered- learn about our newest healthcare service. Snacks and refreshments will be provided, including a dessert bar

District Admin Offices will have information on potential future capital projects, including the expansion of Village at the Harbor and affordable housing for healthcare workers and there will be Q&A with District Commissioners
