The 2015 homecoming parade featured the four grades at Friday Harbor High School. Cheerleaders preceded the parade, followed by the freshman float dressed as a horde of pirates that showed off dance moves to the judges.
The sophomores came as zombies with a graveyard on a flatbed truck, and performed to Thriller while showing off their moves.
The juniors staged a battle signaled by a bugal call, dressed in Wolverine school colors and jerseys. The Wolverines ambushed a flatbed truck to de-crown a king dressed in red, presumably symbolizing tonight’s football game rival King’s Christian.
Seniors showed their patriotic side with red, white and blue streamers, shirts, a lady liberty and Uncle Sam chanting “U.S.A” and singing to “Party in the U.S.A.”
The parade ended with a pep rally at the high school at 3:30 p.m. Tonight’s football game begins at 6 p.m. See the Journal for game coverage.
