Fourth Leadership San Juans class graduates May 30

Leadership San Juan Islands newest class will graduate May 30, 3-5 p.m. at Skagit Valley College San Juan Center.

Leadership San Juan Islands newest class will graduate May 30, 3-5 p.m. at Skagit Valley College San Juan Center.

David Bentley, Carrie Burke, Georgeana Cook, Anna Maria deFreitas, Grisha Krivchenia, Christine Miller, Gail Leschine-Seitz, Kyle Loring, Paul King, Tracie Red Elk, Anji Ringzin and Amy Windrope will present their proposed service projects and receive certificates of completion.

Commencement speaker will be Merle Lefkoff, PhD, co-founder of the Madrona Institute. A special review will be presented by Cynthia-Stark Wickman. Refreshments will be provided. The event is open to the public.

Smuggler’s Villa and Heartwood House on Orcas Island, and Lopez Islander Resort contributed to the program. Each participant was also sponsored in part or wholly by his or her employer or a local nonprofit.
