The Washington state Department of Social and Health Service will be in Friday Harbor Tuesday, April 23, to take applications for food, cash and medical assistance, as well as drug and alcohol treatment services.

DSHS will be at the Family Resource Center, 476 Market Street, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., April 23, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 24.

DSHS officials will also be on hand to conduct yearly reviews and answer questions on active cases, or about and services offered by the department.
