Teams of eighth graders and high schoolers go head to head with four local service teams including Kiwanis, Soroptimists, Lions and Rotary at the 17th annual Knowledge Bowl. 

Groups will match wits to answer tricky questions on a range of topics. Friday Harbor High School’s Jim NcNairy will serve as master of ceremonies and you’ll also be entertained by the sounds of Friday Harbor Jazz Band.

Enjoy treats in the lobby before and during the event baked by the Parent-Teacher Association.

The Knowledge Bowl is presented annually by the San Juan Public Schools Foundation.  

The Foundation, through main fundraising events like the Phone-a-Thon and Business Partnership Program in the school directory, has gifted about $57,000 to support local public education needs. 

Tickets,$5 for adults and $3 for kids, are available at the door on the night of the event on Tuesday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m, at the Community Theatre.
