Domestic Violence Awareness Month: ‘Remember My Name’ vigil, Oct. 10

The vigil will be held in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, October, a time in which the community is encouraged to come together to build awareness and partnerships to end the cycle of domestic violence.

San Juan County Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Service will celebrate the survivors and mourn victims of domestic violence with a vigil, “Remember My Name,” Thursday, Oct. 10, at San Juan County Courthouse, beginning at noon.

The vigil will be held in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, October, a time in which the community is encouraged to come together to build awareness and partnerships to end the cycle of domestic violence.
