Business proved brisk at the start of Peace Island Volunteers Easter Basket Sale, Wednesday, March 25 at Peace Island Medical Center.
The group of volunteers put together an assortment of 50 well-stocked and uniquely decorated Easter Baskets, all tailored-made for various ages and inclinations. Nearly half had been purchased in the first 90 minutes of the sale.
An annual fundraiser, proceeds from the Easter Basket Sale benefit several projects spearheaded by the volunteers: The Angel Fund, cancer care projects and the Children’s Emergency Room Stuffed Animal Project.
If you missed the sale and have interest in a basket, or, in helping the volunteer group further its mission to support and promote healthcare services at PIMC and in the greater community, contact PIV at (360) 378-4224.
