Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 12 through Sunday, Dec. 8, international service between Anacortes/Friday Harbor/Sidney, British Columbia is canceled due to required maintenance on both vessels in Washington State Ferries’ fleet certified to run international service to and from Sidney, British Columbia, M/V Elwha and M/V Chelan.
During this period, M/V Sealth will replace Elwha/Chelan and sail in the No. 3 vessel position to maintain full four-vessel service on the domestic San Juan Island routes. Due to the cancellation of service to Sidney, British Columbia, there will also be increased domestic service. The M/V Samish will sail in the No. 1 position and have the following trips added:
• 9:55 a.m. Friday Harbor to Lopez and Anacortes
• 10:40 a.m. Lopez to Anacortes
• 11:55 a.m. Anacortes to Lopez to Friday Harbor
• 12:45 p.m. Lopez to Friday Harbor
Reservations are available for the 9:55 a.m. from Friday Harbor to Anacortes, 10:40 a.m. Lopez to Anacortes (commercial only), and 11:55 a.m. Anacortes to Lopez and Friday Harbor sailings at www.takeaferry.com.
