This year’s November General Election has a full lineup of races to cast your vote.
Fourteen races are on San Juan Island and three in the Town of Friday Harbor, though races appear on ballots based on voters’ precincts. Ballots will be mailed on Oct. 17 and are due by Tuesday, Nov. 7.

In the race for the San Juan County Public Hospital District 1, Commissioner 2, John Manning who is running against Anna Lisa Lindstrum.
In the race for the San Juan County Public Hospital District 1, Commissioner 4, Peg LeBlanc was running unopposed. She told the Journal on Oct. 11 that she dropped out the race. The election ballots were printed prior to her announcement, so her name will appear as a viable option to voters. As she is running unopposed, it is highly possible LeBlanc will be elected unless voters write in another candidate. The hospital district will decide how to proceed.
