William Troy Nash of Vancouver, Wash., died in an automobile accident on Sept. 25, 2009.
Troy was born July 24, 1987 in Mount Vernon, Wash., and lived his early life in Friday Harbor. His family moved to Vancouver, Wash., where Troy attended his later school years and earned his GED diploma.
His earlier years were involved in sports and motorcycle racing, and he remained a sports enthusiast.
Troy loved the outdoors and worked as a commercial fisherman with his family in Puget Sound, Wash., and Bristol Bay, Alaska. Recently, he worked as a fund raiser.
Troy is survived by his companion, Virginia; son, Sione Miles Nash, who he adored; his parents, Connie and Kelly; brothers, Jasen and Kyle; grandparents, Betty and Charles Nash; grandparents, Kay and Ray Pullen; many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Troy will be dearly missed by his family and friends and he will hereafter be in paradise.
Viewing is noon to 9 p.m. Sept. 30 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Church service will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 218 W. 12th St., Vancouver, Wash., at 12:10 p.m. on Oct. 2. Interment will follow at Mother Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Vancouver, Wash.
