Padraic McManus and Whitney Clem exchanged vows on Aug. 7, 2010 at the home of Terry and Phyllis Clem of Friday Harbor.

Patt is the son of Judy McManus of Friday Harbor and Tim McManus of Coupeville, Wash., and Whitney is the daughter of Terry and Phyllis Clem of Friday Harbor.

Patt and Whitney grew up on the island and both attended Friday Harbor High School at different times. They met while working at the Bella Luna restaurant in Friday Harbor in the summer of 2002.

The wedding day was rainy but that didn’t slow down the celebration. They were prepared with a large tent, parasols, and plenty of food and libations. The groom and his friends made the food, the cake was made by Patt’s mother Judy and decorated with flowers from Whitney’s mother’s garden, and former Friday Harbor resident Lilly Bartmasser did the flowers. Friends and family from all over the country were in attendance, and the party went late into the evening.

Patt and Whitney would like to thank all their friends and family for all of their help and hard work putting their wedding together and making it the wedding of their dreams.
