The Natural Balance House, located near Friday Harbor, opens for tours 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays this May. The house uses current ‘green’ systems and technologies including a cistern harvesting rainwater, geothermal in-floor radiant heating, solar water heating and extensive use of recycled and sustainable materials throughout the house. Tours are lead by the homeowners, building professionals and designers involved in the project.
