From lighthouse tours to killer whale talks, from wild things to hikes by the water’s edge, there’s a lot going on over the next two months at Lime Kiln Point State Park. Ready the calendar.

• The Lime Kiln State Park lighthouse is open for tours every Thursday and Saturday, 7 p.m. to sunset, through Sept. 14.

• Dr. Bob Otis of Ripon College, who has studied the Southern residents from the shore for more than two decades, will offer insights into the endangered band of orcas Fridays and Saturdays, beginning at 3 p.m. at the doorstep of the lighthouse.

• Wolf Hollow Wildlife Rehabilitation Center will present an exhibition of “Wild Things”, 2-4 p.m., Saturdays, at the lighthouse, through Aug. 31.

• Tide Pool Discovery Tours, featuring a short hike south to nearby Deadman’s Bay, begin at 10 a.m., July 7, July 23, Aug. 6 and Aug. 20. Meet at the Interpretive Center. Sturdy shoes, water, snacks and clothes for cool temperatures are advised.
