Now in its 16th year, the Rotary Car Show is known for its relaxed, friendly atmosphere and stunning setting at San Juan Vineyard, 3136 Roche Harbor Road. Held August 11th, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., the show welcomes custom, classic and alternative fuel vehicles. Live music, food, vineyard wines, and awards provide the winning combination for an afternoon of fun. Entry is free to the public (donations welcome) or $10 to enter a vehicle. More information at: https://rotaryfoundationsanjuanislands.org/car-show.

This year’s show will feature the Serial #2 of the iconic TESLA Roadster. Significantly, it changed electric cars from being seen as golf carts to being seen as one of the highest performance vehicles on the road. The car belongs to Martin Eberhard, one of two original founders of TESLA.

Polish up those wheels and register your vehicle online (preferred) or on the day of the event from 9 – 10:30 am. Grab a morning refreshment and stroll among an eclectic mix of cars showcasing automotive history and innovation, not to mention a dose of island quirkiness. Pause for a BBQ lunch with a side of live music, a slice of homemade dessert and perhaps a glass of estate wine from the Vineyard. Then, help decide the People’s Choice Award; ballots are due by 1:30 pm.

If you are bringing a car from off island, and you don’t have reservations, we suggest you contact WA State Ferries. For walk-on ferry passengers or boaters Public Transportation is available from the San Juan Island ferry terminal in Friday Harbor or from the marina at Roche Harbor. Hope to see you there!
