San Juan County Fair officials are asking for artistic creations to support the San Juan Islands Museum of Art. At the fair, attendees can buy raffle tickets for the donated pieces they want to win. This helps bring exhibitions like the current First Nations’ “Emergence,” to the museum.

Criteria:

• Canvases must be no larger than 8”x 10” and wired on the back to hang.

• 3-D art must have a support or pedestal for display.

• Deliver work from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.,Thursday through Monday to SJIMA; the deadline is Monday, Aug. 14.
