The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services’ mobile community office is coming to Friday Harbor, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Dec. 4 and 5. The vehicle will be parked at the Family Resource Center, at 476 Market St. At this office, Washington residents can apply for cash assistance, basic food assistance, medical assistance and the Medicare savings program, as well as drop off paperwork, complete an eligibility review and more.
