The Soroptimists International of Friday Harbor helped three families in need this year. Ten people, in all, will have happy holidays. The Family Resource Center provided information on two families of four and a single parent and child, as well as a new limit of spending no more than $50 per person. However, with some careful effort, the holiday shoppers were able to buy warm coats, slippers, gloves, a sheet set, and even a replacement mic for a karaoke machine. Packages were delivered to the resource center on Dec. 15.
