SJI Community Foundation offers variety of scholarships

From career training to higher eduction, The San Juan Island Community Foundation has a variety of scholarship programs. Perhaps there's one for you.

The San Juan Island Community Foundation has a variety of scholarship programs to assist high school graduates and adults planning to continue their education at accredited colleges and universities, community and two-year colleges, and in accredited career and vocational training programs.

Below is a list and description of the Foundation’s scholarships:

Inskeep Legacy Scholarship: for 2012 high school graduates from a San Juan Island high school program preparing to attend a four-year college or university program. Application deadline, May 1, 5 p.m.

General Scholarship: for San Juan Island high school graduates wishing to further their education in an accredited community college, two-year college, or vocational/career program.

Career Training: for San Juan Island residents with a high school degree or GED certificate planning to initiate or further career training in an accredited program leading to skills/professional certification. Currently, applicants preparing for healthcare careers receive priority.
