San Juan Community Theatre’s summer show Every Brilliant Thing, starring Boo Boo James, opens June 27! A daughter, now grown, recalls how she created a list of things worth living for, all in an attempt to raise the spirits of her chronically depressed mother. Duncan MacMillan’s play explores the lengths we go for those we love through the eyes of a child whose mother suffers from depression. Filled with resounding hope, infectious humor, and surprising warmth, Every Brilliant Thing counts the joys that make living wonderful and celebrates the hope we find in the smallest miracles of life.
The show runs through July 28 with 7:30 p.m. performances most Thursdays through Saturdays and 2 pm performances most Saturdays and Sundays. Check our website at www.sjctheatre.org for the full performance schedule. Tickets are $26 for adults, $13 for students and $5 for student rush tickets.
