An evening of holiday family fun is on tap at San Juan Community Theatre at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 17.
Disney’s popular animated film “Frozen” will be presented on the Whittier Theatre’s big screen and guests have the opportunity to sing along to its soundtrack, including the Oscar-winning favorite “Let It Go.”
The 2013 film features fearless optimist Anna who sets off on an epic journey, teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven. They are trying to find Anna’s sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
During the show, the island’s own Anna and Elsa will be on hand to take photos with guests; and folks are encouraged to dress up in their favorite “Frozen” attire. Plus, there will be free popcorn and drinks. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and are at www.sjctheatre.org or at the door.
