Lakedale Resort at Three Lakes will present their second annual jazz festival featuring jazz guitarist Brian Nova. Attendees will enjoy performances in the meadow and on Lakedale’s lodge deck overlooking beautiful Neva Lake from 1-8 p.m., Sept. 1 and noon-4 p.m., Sept. 2.
The festival is open to all ages. It is produced by Lakedale Resort at Three Lakes, and food will be provided by Seattle’s celebrated Mobile Mavens food trucks with creative food ranging from biscuits, to chicken and rice, to ice cream.
The performance lineup includes Grammy award winner and Yamaha performance artist Laurence Hobgood; Max Homberg/200 Trio and Stephanie Porter Quartet.
The event will take place on Lakedale’s scenic property, which features a variety of accommodations, including the lodge, log cabins, canvas cabins, canvas cottages, campsites and a vintage Airstream trailer. Glampers can enjoy Lakedale’s newest amenity: Yurts with 425 square feet of modern luxury. These luxury accommodations offer king-size beds with flannel duvet covers, en-suite bathroom with shower, wet bar and refrigerator, electricity, a large flat-panel TV, a queen-size sleeper sofa and a spacious 180-square-foot private deck complete with hot tub. Stay the night or come for the day, either way, guests can enjoy fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking and playing in the beautiful 82 acres of San Juan Islands nature.
