Bloom San Juan is excited to start renting out farm tables in Friday Harbor this summer! After my husband, Brady Ryan, and I got married this past June, we noticed that there was a big need for more wedding rental options here on the island. As a wedding florist myself, I have also always liked the idea of being able to provide more rental items to my clients.

I started playing with the idea of building farm tables, as I have always loved the way that they look at weddings. Luckily for me, I have an incredibly talented carpenter in my family, my dad! He was willing to undertake the big project of building 20 new tables, which should all be completed and ready to rent by Memorial Day weekend. They are each 8-feet long, and are made out of local, sustainable Douglas Fir. They are truly unique pieces that have been hand stained with a neutral finish, and a water-based topcoat.
