Access to Mount Grant Preserve is by the private road, Richard Lee Lane, off West Valley Road. The current parking area and the part of the road are on an easement over privately owned land. The barbed wire fence, floodlights and security cameras in the current parking area are part of that privately owned land and were installed by the property owner to deter unwanted behaviors. The San Juan County Land Bank staff ask that attendees to respect private property and to not trespass. As with all land bank preserves, Mount Grant Preserve is for day use only and follows the county ordinance requiring dogs to be leashed and “Leave No Trace” principles.
