Purple haze: Northern Lights aglow over Orcas

Right place, right time. San Juan Island photographer Chris Teren seems to have the knack. Here's his photo of the Northern Lights, taken July 15. The photo was taken from the south end of San Juan Island and with Orcas Island in the viewfinder (note the red glow of the communication towers on Mount Constitution).
