You’re invited to an Open House at The Whale Museum on Sept. 26 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Come meet the staff, learn what goes on behind the scenes, and get up-to-date on the museum’s current and upcoming projects!

Enjoy snacks and drinks while you explore the museum after hours! Staff from all departments will be there to answer your questions and fill you in on their busy summer season. Entry is free and all are welcome!

The Whale Museum is located in Friday Harbor at 62 First St. N. The Whale Museum’s mission is to promote stewardship of whales and the Salish Sea ecosystem through education and research. In addition to providing exhibits, the museum also provides programs including the Marine Naturalist Training, Orca Adoption Program, SeaSound.org Acoustics, Soundwatch Boater Education Program, San Juan County Marine Mammal Stranding Network and the Whale Hotline.
